History – Youtube & Website

Over the years, after becoming a manager I was able to notice that my time was being consumed more and more by administrative tasks and less on technical tasks.

The gradual removal of technical tasks from my schedule bothered me because this was always my favorite part of the job, so I started looking for a way to keep me technically relevant using my free time.

The desire to keep my technical knowledge relevant made me create a youtube channel called FuckingIT where I present purely technical videos related to networks and servers.

After the first year, it was possible to notice that users of the channel were requesting to be able to copy the commands shown in the videos from somewhere and this was the reason to create the fucking-it.com website.

What started as a hobby to keep me updated quickly became a fulltime income and the domain name FuckingIT was not doing me any favors.

Meanwhile, the domains name FuckingIT was preventing me to do a lot of tasks like to create marketing campaigns, to associate the website with some brands and to reach potential new customers.
